The International Association of Infant Massage (see their web site) was founded in the United States by Vimala McClure in the early 1980's. The purpose of the association was to recruit and train instructors to teach parents and caregivers the theory, skills and techniques of parent-infant bonding through Infant Massage.

Elly Leduc, RN, CIMI, creator of Baby Massage: A Video for Loving Parents, is a Certifed Infant Massage Instructor.

Over 27 countries worldwide have formed Chapters of IAIM. Over 10,000 CIMI Instructors have been trained in the United States alone.

The mission of the International Association of Infant Massage-US Chapter (IAIM-US) is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education, and research so that parents, caregivers, and children are loved, valued, and respected throughout the world community.
Baby Massage: A Video for Loving Parents, is based on Vimala McClure's book, Infant Massage: A Handbook for Loving Parents.

It demonstrates all of the strokes that a care-giver would learn in 5 class sessions from a certified instructor.

It shows the entire Infant Massage routine plus a quiet, inspirational massage with Elly Leduc, R.N., CIMI and an older infant who was massaged in an orphanage in Calcutta from birth until adoption at four months.

You'll hear the IAIM theme song "Bengali Lullaby" by Kevin Slick and "Music to be Born By" by Grammy Award winner Mickey Hart.

While of course we would be delighted if you decide to purchase our video, we encourage you to take a class with other parents or care-givers if it is practical for you.
